About

My passion for filmmaking started at a young age making VHS films with friends. Now an award-winning filmmaker, I’ve been able to gain a wide variety of experience ranging from directing, producing, shooting, writing and editing narrative film and commercial video. After completing a Bachelors of Arts degree in Visual Arts with an emphasis in Film at UC San Diego, I then earned a masters degree in Television, Film, and New Media Production. There I won top prize at many film festivals and was a recipient of the Kathleen Kennedy Production Grant, the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Emmy Scholarship, and the Focal Press Excellence in Filmmaking Award, as well as a regional Emmy Award. Since graduating, I’ve had the privilege of creating content for clients including NatGeoTV, CBS, Universal, and working as a Video Producer for NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in sunny SoCal.
